I Shoot for the Cure: Archery Supporting the Fight Against Cancer

Archers Shooting for a Cause

Across the world, archers often use their sport to support meaningful causes. For example, the Shoot for the Cure archery event raises funds for cancer research.

Closer to home, near the CustomMadeWraps office, father and son Toon and Tom van Lieshout organise an annual charity archery shoot. Each year, they bring the archery community together. As a result, archers gain an opportunity to support the fight against cancer while enjoying the sport they love.

Altogether, the event combines sport, community spirit, and fundraising. In turn, this creates a real and lasting impact.

Arrow Wraps That Make a Difference

To further support this initiative, CustomMadeWraps launched the I Shoot for the Cure arrow wrap collection.

With every purchase from this range, CustomMadeWraps donates 20% of the purchase value to the Shoot for the Cure charity event.

As a result, every set of wraps improves the look and visibility of your arrows. At the same time, each purchase helps raise funds for cancer research.

The funds raised then support the national foundation Alpe d’HuZes. In particular, this unique sporting event focuses on raising as much money as possible for cancer research. At the same time, it also works to improve the quality of life for people living with cancer.

Each year, around 5,000 participants cycle, hike, or run up Alpe d’Huez in a single day. During the event, many participants attempt the climb up to six times under the powerful motto:

“Giving up is not an option.”
